The shirts are 65% polyester and 35% cotton. They have a traditional button front and a breast pocket. Unlike many school shirts these have been cut slightly longer to fit an adult. That's to say that when you bend over that the shirt will not pull out from the back of your shorts because it is too short. The shirts have been cut in a traditional school style but to fit an adult.
Please do not confuse these shirts with cheap, far east imports. These shirts are British made and are superb quality. The shirts are brand new and will be supplied clipped onto a backing card. This style of short trousers is still worn to this day by boys at a number of exclusive country preparatory schools. These shorts are available in a range of sizes from 30" to 40" waist. They have an elasticated back, side pockets, zip fly and belt loops. They have an inside leg of 8".
The shorts are 50% cotton and 55% polyester and have a 50% cotton 50% polyester white lining and are in as new condition with tags still attached. THE QUALITY OF THESE SHORTS IS SUPERB. Heavy corduroy material gives these shorts a traditional look and feel.
The shorts can be shortened to any length you require. This will be done by a professional seamstress and will take about 7 days to arrange. The charge for altering the shorts is £14.50. New Products Stunning Vintage White & Navy Sailor Suit With Shorts, Hat, Tie & Socks. Waist 32" Chest 38"  £149.00 An absolutely stunning sailor suit in an adult size. This suit was made by Anichini in the 1990s. The complete suit includes; a shirt, shorts, hat, tie & socks (not shown). The suit creases easily and will need to be ironed.
The suit is based on an original boys sailor suit from the Edwardian period.
Made from lightweight white cotton fabric with navy blue detail.
The shirt has a 6 button front, button cuffs and navy blue detail. There is an anchor motif on the left sleeve and the sailor collar is secured with 3 popper fastenings. There is a small yellow stain on the back of the shirt

The shorts have a single button front, zip fastening, turnups and 2 side pockets.
